Requirements in detail
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry into Palau.
Must possess a confirmed return or onward ticket unless exempt (diplomats, those with exemption letters, valid work permit holders, or citizens of USA/FSM/RMI).
If unable to provide a ticket, a bond acceptable to the Director may be posted as proof of onward travel.
Must demonstrate sufficient funds to cover expenses during the stay and not become a public charge. Acceptable proof includes a letter of credit or other evidence approved by the Director.
A $100 environmental fee is included in the price of airline tickets for travel to Palau since 1 Jan 2018. Certain individuals (Palauan citizens, spouses, crew, diplomats, transit passengers, etc.) are exempt and may claim a cash refund upon arrival.
All passengers must submit the Palau Entry Form online at https://www.palautravel.pw/ at most 72 hours before departure. A QR code will be generated and must be presented during check-in and upon arrival.
