- Applicant must be a foreign national or stateless person intending to engage in religious activity in Kazakhstan.
- An invitation for private purposes must be submitted no earlier than 1 year and no later than 5 working days before the expected date of entry.
- The invitation processing period is no more than 3 working days when submitted electronically and no more than 5 working days in paper form.
- The inviting party must submit a request and required documents to the territorial police department or through the State Corporation.
- The application must be approved by the National Security Committee within 3 working days (extendable to 30 calendar days if needed).
- The invitation may be refused if the host has been held liable two or more times in the past 12 months for failure to inform authorities about immigrants.
